Working 9 'till 5

Hey everyone! This week I am on work experience therefore probably won't be blogging a lot as it is quite tiring working literally from 9am until 5pm (well 5.30pm but still!)

In the past I have noticed on the trains going up to London in the morning that a lot of business men and women don't really make much of an effort with their work clothes fashion wise and when I started my work experience I didn't want to be one of those people to just wear black trousers and a blouse therefore I wanted to try and see how hard it was to find a nice outfit that is both acceptable in fashion and the workplace!
Here are the pictures of what I wore today and I hope that I achieved what I set out to do! Hope you all like I would love to know your opinions!!! :) xxx

All of the shops are now bringing in their Autumn/Winter Collections and Topshop especially are bringing out some really nice things for the coming seasons and I especially love their boots at the moment! I really need some new decent boots that I can wear with most things and keep-hopefully-for a  long time!
Anyway, here are some pictures of all the boots I like, where they are from and their price and I would really appreciate your help as to what boots you think would be best for everyday style and practicality.
Enjoy! Thank you!!! :) xxx

NEW L'ORÉAL Paris Nude Magique BB Cream Review

Hey everyone! In this post I am going to be reviewing the NEW L'ORÉAL Paris Nude Magique BB Cream. A lot of brands of make up are bringing out these BB creams which promise to give all over coverage for blemishes, imperfections and lines. The BB creams combine the benefits of skin care and makeup to give you that 'flawless finish'.
I for one never use foundation as I am quite lucky to have relatively clear skin, *touch wood* apart from the odd spot which I normally cover up using a concealer, therefore have never really seen the point in using a foundation. However having seen loads of adverts from various brands of makeup all bringing out BB creams and the fact I am a sucker for free samples, I therefore decided to combine both and try a free sample of the L'ORÉAL Paris Nude Magique BB Cream.

I was excited to try it however once I opened the little sachet and put some on my hand I though they gave me the wrong thing as it came out a white-grey colour! However, once I started rubbing it into my hand it magically changed colour so I was nicely surprised there!

The cream itself was smooth in texture and went onto my skin nicely. I tried using a sponge to put it on but found it easier using my fingers. The cream gave me an even coverage overall and I am pleased with the results as it made my skin feel very soft. It also has SPF 15 in it which is good for the summer as it protects your skin at the same time! If I was to buy the cream I would have to buy a lighter colour as the colour was wrong for me and I did feel a bit tangoed! (The effects of which can be seen below on the sponge and the wipe) haha!

Although a fairly good cream overall, I don't think I will be purchasing it as I did feel as if it was caked on my face a tad but not sure if that's to do with the fact I don't wear foundation.
Hope you enjoyed this post!!! :) xxx

OOTD: Black & White

Hey everyone! This is only a short post to show you the outfit that I wore yesterday as I didn't have the time to upload it. Not really Outfit Of the day I apologise, but it was yesterdays! haha!
Anyway I wore this when I went out to meet up with my friends, I wore my new Skater skirt which is from primark and paired it with my Layered, Collared, Topshop top which I think has worked well. I felt this outfit didn't need accessories as the top already has a collar and so I kept it basic with a Coral Red lipstick from Topshop which matches my nail varnish and then used my Tan Bag.
Anyway here are the pics, hope you like!!! :) xxx

But then in the afternoon my friend Elli-Rose came over and we spent the afternoon watching Sherlock Holmes, eating cookies and drinking some weird concoction that she had brought with her (it tasted good though) haha!
Overall it has been a good day and hopefully you like my outfit, I've had the skirt for a while and it is a petite skirt as I am a short 5ft2" so fits me very well! Hope you enjoy!!! :) xxx

Hey everyone! This blog is inspired by a page that used to be in the weekend paper years ago. The page was called 'take two' if I remember correctly and was about finding a cheaper alternative of an item of clothing or outfit that you really like but can't afford. This is the story of my life as I am always trying to find the same item of clothing that I like for cheaper if I am short on money-you can't always find everything you want for a cheaper price but it is always worth looking!
Anyway here are some items that I like and have found for a cheaper price, hope you enjoy!!! :) xxx

Hey everyone! As it's summer I get quite bored quite quickly and so found a nail tutorial of how to do galaxy nail art design courtesy of my friend Kristy.
I had a sleepover again on Wednesday night and decided to try it out. Anyway here is my new jumper that I wore today and also the results of the galaxy nail art design, hope you like it!!! :) xxx

Nail Art

Hey everyone! As I am now on my summer holiday from college I have more time to blog :)
On saturday night I went to stay at my friend called Kristy's house which was a pretty hilarious night :P
Anyway we decided to experiment with nail art and so painted each others nails and here are the results (they were so easy to do!!) Hope you enjoy!!! :) xxx

Here's how to do them:
•Apply A base coat to all of your nails

Panda's
•Apply White nail varnish on tops of nails in a circular shape
•Wait to dry then, using a dotting tool, dip into black nail varnish and dot onto nails to make eyes, nose and ears
•Once dry, use a smaller dotting tool with white nail varnish and dab on to make the eyes

Waist Coat
•Apply a layer of white nail varnish and wait to dry
•Then using a black nail art pen or a thin paint brush dipped in black nail varnish, make the lines of the waist coat and fill in
•Then, using the dotting tool dipped in black nail varnish make a cross and fill in either side of the cross to make the bow tie.
•Make a single dot below the bow tie using the dotting tool to make the button

Striped nails
•You can either use a coat of black nail varnish or white nail varnish but probably easer to use white.
•Then, using the dotting tool dip into the black nail varnish and carefully draw the stripe lines either going horizontally or vertically, whichever you prefer. (You will need to be patient as you will have to keep dip the dotting tool into the black nail varnish often to get a good line)

•Then finish all your nails with a top coat nail varnish :)

Dotting tools - Amazon - £1.50 approx.

Charity Shop Haul + OOTD

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I don't really have an excuse just that I forgot and didn't have anything interesting to blog so I apologise :)

Anyway here are a couple of things I got in the charity shops near my college in the past few days. The nude, sheer shirt that I got (which I have wanted for ages!) has a cute scallop detail on the arms and length which I love!
I used to be rubbish with finding anything decent in charity shops but lately I have been quite lucky, it's all having time and patience to look through everything even things that aren't your size to find some nice things.

I have also got my OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) It's pretty simple but it was only to go to college in and I have got quite a lot of compliments from the necklace I got in the Topshop SALE (as seen in my previous post) so I hope you like everything!!! :) xxx
